RISC-KIT gave presence to the United Nations World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (WCDRR).
The Third UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction was held from 14 to 18 March 2015 in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. Several thousand people participated to the World Conference and the related events, under the umbrella of building the resilience of nations and communities to disasters.
RISC-KIT was represented to the Conference dually:

Lydia Cumiskey from Stichting Deltares gave the presentation "Resilience Increasing Strategies for Coasts – ToolKit (RISC-KIT)". You can access the .pdf file of the presentation through the link and learn more about the programme of the side event and the related presentations here.
