RISC-KIT's 6th General Assembly Meeting a Resounding Success
A lot of hard work was accomplished during the project meeting in Faro, Portugal.
The RISC-KIT Consortium came together in Faro, Portugal from 20 - 22 April for the 6th General Assembly. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the progress made in the project to date as well as to share plans for the future.
As many of the Case Study Owners (CSOs) are currently in the process of applying the new RISC-KIT tools to their particular Case Studies, this meeting also included a workshop on the CRAF - Coastal Risk Assessment Assessment Framework tool as well as the Multi-Criteria Analysis that will be implemented in the coming months. The workshop offered the chance for the consortium to share their experiences of applied aspects of the tools as well as to directly address any difficulties they might have experienced with the tool developers in a one-to-one setting. Progress has been positive to date with all partners making headway with their analyses.
Exciting things are also afoot at RISC-KIT. The first Summer School enrollment period is due to close shortly, and plans are already being made for the second Summer School, which will be held in Faro in January 2017. More information on the Second "Summer" School will be released in the coming weeks.
A series of photos from the meeting are available in the RISC-KIT Photo Gallery.
