[CONFERENCE] Challenger Society 2016 Conference - Oceans and Climate

5-8 September 2016, Liverpool, UK.

 

The 17th Biennial Challenger Society Conference for Marine science will take place in Liverpool this year from 5-8 September. The conference will be held at the Central Teaching Hub in the university district of Liverpool.

The conference offers many different themes under which to present, including:

Sea-level rise and variability - from global means to coastal floods.
The impacts of marine climate change and variability in the shelf seas.
Phyical coastal processes: the connections between land, ocean and atmosphere.
Ocean science for meeting and setting policy requirements in a changing world
Marine science for society.

Alongside the formal conference programme there will be early career events and education & outreach opportunities. A range of special interest group and community meetings will also take place during and after the conference, details of which will be available leading up to the conference.

Dates: Abstract submission is open until 12 May 2016.
Venue: Liverpool, UK.
