7th General Assembly takes place in Varna, Bulgaria
The RISC-KIT Consortium will come together from 28-30 September.
This month saw the 7th RISC-KIT General Assembly meeting. This meeting was hosted by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences at the Institute of Oceanology, and took place in the coastal city of Varna, which is one of the RISC-KIT case study sites.
Dr. Ap Van Dongeren, Coordinator, opens the 7th General Assembly meeting.
During the meeting the project partners discussed progress in the development of the five project tools: the Coastal Risk Assessment Framework Tool, the hotspot tool, the web-based management guide, the early warning system/decisision support system tool and the multi-criteria analysis (MCA) tool.
Several partners have now carried out meetings with local stakeholders as part of their Multi-Criteria Analysis, More news on this particular tool is available in the End User section of the website as well as in the What's New? area.
Dr. Annellies Bolle describes the Zebrugge case study to the consortium.
Other topics up for discussion were lessons learned from the first RISC-KIT Summer School and plans for the upcoming second RISC-KIT "Summer" School, as well as other developments taking place in RISC-KIT.
