[CONFERENCE] European Maritime Day 2014 Conference
19 - 20 May 2014
The European Maritime Day 2014 Conference will be held in Bremen, Germany on 19 - 20 of May 2014. The conference will be organized by the European Comission, German Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Ports of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen.
This year the conference will be devoted to innovation and maritime technologies. Europe needs to be at the forefront of the Blue economy revolution. To deliver growth and jobs to its underemployed youth, and to ensure that this is not a temporary blip. We want future generations to enjoy the fruits of the sea as much as ourselves. In Bremen, politicians, experts, CEOs and civil society representatives will discuss this challenge and submit their ideas to European policy-makers.
