[WORKSHOP] RISC-KIT Model Adapter Training Internal Workshop

17 -21 March 2014

The first Model Adapter Training Internal Workshop of the FP7 project RISC-KIT, took place in Deltares, Netherlands between March 17th and March 21st 2014. The workshop was focused in issues related to the adaption of scientific simulation models, to be utilized in the context of the project. Participants, deriving from the project partners’ institutes, were trained in constructing appropriate code in order to create adapters that will integrate models of alternative origin to the Delft – Flood Early Warning System (FEWS) framework.

The participants, coming from UALG, IMDC, LIENS-S/CNRS, WMO, TU Delft and CIMA, were initially introduced to the FEWS modelling protocols, and then produced the code for the appropriate adapters that will be used in the Case Study sites applications of RISC-KIT, part of Work Package 5.
